Carrera

Ganó dos Premios Emmy pol so trabayu na serie Taxi. Foi candidata a un Óscar a la Meyor Actriz pol so papel na película Hester Street. Tamién apaeció en 1987 en The Princess Bride y en 1988 en Scrooged con Bill Murray.

A principios de 2006, empezó a actuar nel musical de Broadway Wicked, caracterizando a Madame Morrible, un papel que desempeñara enantes nel show de la primer xira nacional.
