2025 Moto3 World Championship

The 2025 FIM Moto3 World Championship will be a part of the 77th FIM Road Racing World Championship season.

Team changes

  • Intact GP, Tech3, and Aspar Team dropped their Husqvarna-, GasGas-, and CFMoto-rebranded KTM bikes, respectively, for KTM-branded RC250GPs. Aspar Team retained CFMoto as a title sponsor.[20]

Rider changes

  • David Almansa will switch from the Snipers Team to Leopard Racing, replacing Ángel Piqueras, who moves to MT Helmets-MSi.
  • Team MTA will field an all-new lineup with Matteo Bertelle, who moves over from the Snipers Team, and Joel Kelso, who will move over from BOE Motorsports. Riccardo Rossi will take over the seat at the Snipers Team vacated by Bertelle, and he will be joined by former MTA rider Nicola Carraro.
  • David Muñoz will move over to Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP after racing with BOE Motorsports for the past three seasons.
  • Eddie O'Shea and Marcos Uriarte will race for MLav Racing in 2025, both of them will be making their full-time debuts. O'Shea served as a replacement rider in 2024 and Uriarte served as a replacement rider in 2022 and 2024.
  • Guido Pini will make his Grand Prix debut in 2025, where will ride for Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP, replacing Tatsuki Suzuki, who retired from racing at the end of the 2024 season.
  • Dennis Foggia will return to the Moto3 Championship with the Aspar Team after spending the last two years in the Moto2 class. He will replace the 2024 Moto3 World Champion David Alonso, who steps up to the Moto2 class with the same team; and Máximo Quiles, who is set to make his Grand Prix debut in 2025 after racing in the Red Bull Rookies Cup and FIM JuniorGP Championship in the past two seasons.
  • BOE Motorsports will field an all-new lineup with Ruché Moodley and Cormac Buchanan making their Grand Prix debuts. Moodley raced in the Red Bull Rookies Cup and JuniorGP in 2024, while Buchanan raced in JuniorGP in 2024.
  • Scott Ogden will move to CIP Green Power after racing with MLav Racing for the last three seasons.

Mid-season changes

  • Jacob Roulstone will miss the first rounds of the season due to a neck injury sustained at a private training session. He will be replaced by Joel Esteban.[21]
  • Máximo Quiles will miss the first two rounds due to him being under the minimum age for riders who finish in the Top 3 of the 2024 FIM JuniorGP World Championship. He will be replaced by Jakob Rosenthaler.[22]
