"Always on the Run" is a song by German singer-songwriter Isaak. It was released on 19 January 2024 through Good Kid Records and Polydor Records. The song is set to represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö after having won the German national final.

Background and reception

Guderian describes "Always on the Run" as an insight into his "conflicting" mind through a "powerful sound" paired with "calm moments".[2]

On 16 February 2024, Guderian performed at the German national final event for the Eurovision Song Contest alongside eight other contestants.[3] Ahead of his performance, the singer had not been favoured as a contestant.[1] The ballot was evenly divided in viewer voting and the assessment by an international jury, both of which assigned him with the maximum 12 points, for a total of 24 points, 4 ahead of runner-up Max Mutzke.[4]
