Aman Sehrawat (born 16 July 2003) is an Indian freestyle wrestler from Haryana. He won the bronze medal in 57 kg category at the 2022 Asian Games.[1][2][3][4][5] Earlier in April 2023, he won a gold medal at the Asian Wrestling Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Early life

Sehrawat hails from Birohar, Jhajjar district, Haryana.[6] He lost both his parents when he was 11 years old.

Career

Sehrawat won his first National Championship title in 2021. He used to train under coach Lalit Kumar.[6]

In January 2024, he won the gold medal in the men’s 57kg at the Zagreb Open wrestling tournament beating China’s Zou Wanhao in the final.[7]
