Aravakurichi is an assembly constituency in the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly, that includes the town, Aravakurichi and other neighbouring parts of Karur district.[2] Its State Assembly Constituency number is 134. It is a part of the Karur Lok Sabha constituency. It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu.
