Bakhtajerd (Persian: بختاجرد, also Romanized as Bakhtājerd; also known as Bakhlagird, Bakhlājerd, and Baxtâjerd)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Bakhtajerd Rural District of the Central District of Darab County, Fars province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 877 in 201 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,093 people in 258 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 889 people in 277 households.[2]
