Filestan (Persian: فيلستان, also Romanized as Fīlestān and Fīlistān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Filestan Rural District[4] of the Central District of Pakdasht County, Tehran province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 4,476 in 1,121 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,716 people in 1,258 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,431 people in 1,229 households.[2]
