Garab (Persian: گراب, also Romanized as Garāb; also known as Garāb-e ‘Olyā - "Upper Garab")[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Tarhan District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,270 in 687 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,200 people in 822 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,295 people in 966 households.[2]
