Kuhmareh District (Persian: بخش کوهمره) is in Kuhchenar County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Nowdan.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the district's population (as a part of Kazerun County) was 11,945 in 2,717 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,215 people in 2,872 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 9,944 inhabitants in 2,943 households.[2]

In 2018, Kuhmareh Rural District, Somghan Rural District, Nowdan, and Qaemiyeh were separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhchenar County, which was divided into two districts of two rural district each, with Qaemiyeh as its capital. Dasht-e Barm Rural District was transferred to the Central District.[3]
