Rodríguez returned to Spain in March 2022, joining Levante UD's reserves in Segunda División RFEF.[9] On 29 July, he moved to fellow league team SD Compostela.[10]
On 3 July 2023, Rodríguez signed a two-year contract with Gimnàstic de Tarragona in Primera Federación.[11]
