Melaka Football Club, simply known as the Melaka FC, is a Malaysian professional football club based in Malacca City, Malacca. The team set to play in the top tier of Malaysian football league system, the Malaysia Super League from 2025–26 after promotion from A1 Semi-Pro League in 2024–25.

History

Following the dissolution of Melaka United, Melaka FC was founded as a continuation of the previous club, though they did not inherit the honours and titles won by Melaka United.[2] Melaka F.C. participated in the 2023 Malaysia M3 League in their debut season.

In 2024, the club competed in the Malaysia Cup for the first time in their history. They faced Malaysia Super League club Terengganu but ultimately fell to a 4–1 aggregate defeat.[3]

Melaka secure champions of A1 League in 2024–25 and promotion to Malaysia Super League for the first time in their history from next season.[4]

Colours

Melaka FC have worn red with mixture of blue for shirts as their home kit. While away colours are usually white with blue trim.
