Template documentationHow to manage this template's collapsible groups/sections option
- This template includes collapsible groups/sections. When it first appears, one of these groups/sections may be set to be visible ("expanded") while the others remain hidden ("collapsed") apart from their titlebars. To achieve this, include the parameter
|namewhere name is one of the following words that identify the groups/sections (omit any speech or quotation marks): "civil by characteristic", military- For example:
{Lists of aircraft |civil by characteristic}
- By default, the "By name" section is set to be expanded (visible) when the template first appears. To override this behavio/ur, use
|byname=collapsed
This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:
{Lists of aircraft|state=collapsed}will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.{Lists of aircraft|state=expanded}will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
