David Armitage BANNERMAN (27a de Novembro 1886 – 6a de Aprilo 1979) estis brita ornitologo. El 1919 ĝis 1952 estis Curator de la Brita Muzeo de Natura Historio (nune nomata Muzeo pri Natura Historio de Londono).^[1]

Li gradiĝis el Pembroke College, Kembriĝo, en 1909, kaj veturis tra Afriko, Karibio, Sudameriko kaj insuloj de Atlantiko.^[2]

Li estis dungita parttemp en la Natural History Museum,^[3] ĝis sia retiriĝo en 1951, dufoje malakceptinte la direktorecon de la British Museum.^[2] Li estis proparolanto de British Ornithologists' Club el 1932 ĝis 1935, kaj redaktis sian Bulletin el 1914–1915 kaj estis Vicprezidanto de la British Ornithologists Union kaj de la Reĝa Societo por Protekto de Birdoj.
