JAG2 یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «JAG2» کُدگذاری می‌شود.^[۴]^[۵]^[۶]

این پروتئین در پیام‌رسانی سلولی نقش دارد و کارکرد صحیحیش برای رشد مناسب جنین ضروری است. دو رونویسی از این ژن تاکنون شناسایی شده است.^[۶]

ریزآران‌ای «miR-1280» جلوی بیان ژن «JAG2» را می‌گیرد.^[۷]
