Laurent Garnier (s. 1. helmikuuta 1966 Boulogne-Billancourt, Pariisi) on ranskalainen tekno -artisti, DJ ja musiikkituottaja.

Vaikutteet

1970-luvulla Laurent ja hänen veljensä olivat innostuneita konemusiikista. Laurent asui tuolloin perheineen Pariisissa. Laurent piti paljon myös diskomusiikista, reggaesta, funkista ja punkista. 16-vuotiaana Laurent alkoi miksata kappaleita.

Vuonna 1984 Laurent työskenteli tarjoilijana Ranskan suurlähetystössä, Lontoossa. Hän asui Lontoossa puolitoista vuotta, minkä jälkeen muutti Manchesteriin. Englannissa asuessaan Laurent sai vaikutteita paikallisesta house-musiikista.
