A Football League One (oficialmente Sky Bet League One por motivos de patrocinio), é a terceira máxima categoría de liga de clubs de fútbol de Inglaterra, por debaixo do Football League Championship.
A League One introduciuse na tempada 2004-05. Durante un curto período de tempo foi coñecida como Football League Second Division, e durante moito tempo, antes da creación da Premier League, coñecíase como Football League Third Division.
Sistema de competición
A liga está composta por 24 equipos. Cada equipo xoga dúas veces contra cada outro equipo, unha vez na casa, e outra vez fóra. O vencedor dun partido lévase tres puntos, un punto para cada equipo en caso de empate, e cero puntos por cada derrota. Ó remate da tempada, a orde na clasificación segue os seguintes criterios: puntos obtenidos, diferenza de goles, goles a favor, os resultados entre dous ou máis equipos e, finalmente, unha serie de un ou máis partidos de playoff.
Ó final de cada tempada, os dous primeiros clasificados, xunto co gañador dos playoffs entre os equipos da 3ª á 6ª posición, ascenden ó Football League Championship, e son substituídos polos tres derradeiros clasificados desa división.
Da mesma maneira, os catro últimos equipos da clasificación descenden á Football League Two, e son substituídos polos tres primeiros clasificados desa división, máis o gañador dos playoffs disputados entre os equipos clasificados da 4ª á 7ª posición.
