Gold Standard Laboratories ou GSL foi un selo discográfico independente fundado en 1993 en Boulder (Colorado) por Sonny Kay. En 2000 trasladou a sede a San Diego e dous anos despois aos Ánxeles. A etiqueta cesou as súas actividades o 29 de outubro de 2007.[1]
A comezos de 2001 Omar Rodríguez-López, membro de At the Drive-In nese momento e posteriormente de The Mars Volta, converteuse en copropietario de Gold Standard Laboratories.[1]
