Traxectoria

A carreira de Fisher está identificada cos filmes da Hammer durante a segunda metade do século vinte. Foi un dos máis prominentes directores de terror, e o primeiro en levar a cor ao terror gótico, ademais da sexualidade e o terror explícito.

Destacou o filme gótico The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), que lanzou a asociación da Hammer co xénero e fixo os actores británicos Peter Cushing e Christopher Lee estrelas do terror.
