Alexander Wendt
Alexander Wendt (lahir 1958 di Mainz, Jerman Barat) adalah seorang ilmuwan politik yang juga merupakan salah seorang sarjana konstruktivis sosial di bidang hubungan internasional. Wendt dan sarjana seperti Nicholas Onuf, Peter J. Katzenstein, Emanuel Adler, Michael Barnett, Kathryn Sikkink, John Ruggie, Martha Finnemore, dan lainnya dalam waktu singkat berhasil menetapkan konstruktivisme sebagai salah satu aliran pemikiran utama di bidangnya. Survei sarjana HI Amerika Serikat dan Kanada tahun 2006 menempatkan Wendt di posisi pertama sarjana-sarjana yang "menyumbang karya paling menarik mengenai hubungan internasional dalam beberapa tahun terakhir."[1]
