Philip Henry Sheridan (6 Maret 1831 – 5 Agustus 1888)[2] adalah seorang perwira United States Army dan jenderal Union dalam Perang Saudara Amerika. Kariernya dikenal karena kenaikan cepatnya menjadi mayjen dan hubungan dekatnya dengan Kepala jenderal Ulysses S. Grant, yang mentransfer Sheridan dari komando divisi infanteri di Teater Barat ke Korps Kavaleri Tentara Potomac di Teater Timur.
