Seri Dunia
Nama "World Series" diambil dari "World Championship Series", nama yang pertama kali muncul pada tahun 1880-an dan terus dipakai hingga awal 1900-an. Nama ini kemudian diperpendek menjadi "World's Series" dan terakhir menjadi "World Series".
