정통장로교회

정통장로교회(Orthodox Presbyterian Church, OPC)는 미국 북부지역에 기반을 둔 신앙적 장로교교단이다.  미국 북장로교(United States of America in the United States of America, PCUSA)에 소속되었는데 1930년대 근본주의와 현대주의 논쟁 시기에 현대신학을 강하게 반대한 웨스트민스터신학교의  존 그레섬 메이천과 같은 회원들에 의해 1936년 창립되었다. 1929년 자유주의 신학에 대해 관대했던 프린스턴 신학교에서 나온 웨스트민스터신학교가 설립되고 1933년 장로교 해외독립선교부(Independent Board for Presbyterian Foreign Missions)가 만들어지면서 정통장로교회가 세워지게 되었다.[1] 규모에 비해 복음주의에서 영향력이 크다.[2][1]
