“‘ഇലക്ട്ര”’(/[invalid input: 'ɨ']ˈlɛktrə/; ഗ്രീക്ക്: Ἠλέκτρα, Ēlektra)ഗ്രീക്ക് പുരാണകഥകളിലെ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ കഥാപാത്രമാണ്. ആർഗോസിലെ രാജാവ് ആഗമെമ്നോണിന്റെയും പത്നി ക്ലൈറ്റെമ്നേസ്ട്രയുടേയും(clytemnestra) മകളായ ഇലക്ട്രക്ക് പിതാവിനോട് ഏറെ അടുപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ക്ലൈറ്റെമ്നസ്ട്രയും കാമുകൻ എഗിസ്തുസും ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തി ആഗമെമ്നണെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. ഇലക്ട്രയും സഹോദരൻ ഒറെസ്റ്റസും ചേർന്ന് ക്ലൈറ്റമ്നസ്ട്രയോടും രണ്ടാനച്ഛനോടും പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നു. [1]. ഈ പ്രമേയത്തെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി സോഫോക്ലിസും യൂറിപ്പിഡിസും വിശ്വവിഖ്യാതമായ ദുരന്ത നാടകങ്ങളെഴുതീട്ടുണ്ട്. വേറേയും അനേകം രചനകൾക്ക് ഇലക്ട്രയുടെ കഥ പ്രചോദനമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. പെൺമക്കൾക്ക് അച്ഛനോടുള്ള അമിതമായ സ്നേഹത്തിന് മനശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ഇലക്ട്ര കോംപ്ലക്സ് എന്നാണ് പേര്.
