Coatlicue var ei morgudinne hjå aztekarane som var knytt til jorda.

Coatlicue var kjend som mor til gudane. Ho blei mor til solen, månen og stjernene, og, etter at ho hadde slukt ein ball med kolibrifjører, til krigsguden Huitzilopochtli.^[1]
