Professor Layton and the Lost Future, kjent i Nord-Amerika som Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, er eit hjernetrim-eventyrspel utvikla av Level-5. Det var utgjeve av Level-5 i Japan i 2008 og av Nintendo internasjonalt i 2010. Lost Future er den tredje tittelen i Professor Layton-serien og oppfølgjaren til Professor Layton and the Curious Village og Professor Layton and Pandora's Box, som saman utgjer ein trilogi.
Spelet handlar om Professor Hershel Layton og den sjølvutnemnde lærlingen hans, Luke Triton som bur i London. Dei møter ein eldre versjon av Luke, som bringer dei til ei urovekkjande framtid som han ber dei hjelpe han å ordne opp i.[1]
