ਬੌਸਟਨ (ਉੱਚਾਰਨ /ˈbɒstən/ ( ਸੁਣੋ) ਜਾਂ /ˈbɔːstən/) ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਮੈਸਾਚੂਸਟਸ, ਅਧਿਕਾਰਕ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਸਾਚੂਸਟਸ ਦਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ, ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ[9] ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ੋਕ ਕਾਊਂਟੀ ਦਾ ਕਾਊਂਟੀ ਸਦਰ-ਮੁਕਾਮ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਨਿਊ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਖੇਤਰਫਲ 49 ਵਰਗ ਮੀਲ (125 ਵਰਗ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ) ਅਤੇ 2011 ਮਰਦਮਸ਼ੁਮਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਅਬਾਦੀ 626,000 ਹੈ[4] ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ 21ਵਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ।[3]
