Uraeotyphlus – rodzaj płazów beznogich z rodziny łusecznikowatych (Ichthyophiidae).

Zasięg występowania

Rodzaj obejmuje gatunki występujące w Ghatach Zachodnich w południowo-zachodnich Indiach[4].

Etymologia

Uraeotyphlus (Uraetyphlus[a]): gr. ουραιος ouraios „ogonowy”, od ουρα oura „ogon”; τυφλος tuphlos „ciemny”[2].
