Dugald Stewart FRSE FRS (22 November 1753 – 11 Juin 1828) wis a Scots philosopher an mathematician. He is best kent for popularisin the Scots Enlichtment, for his lecturs at the Varsity o Edinburgh war widely disseminatit bi his mony influential students. In 1783 he cofoondit the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
