Mytishchi (Roushie: Мытищи) is a ceety an the admeenistrative center o Mytishchinsky Destrict o Moscow Oblast, Roushie, that lees tae the northeast o Roushie's caipital Moscow, on the Yauza River an the Moscow–Yaroslavl railwey. Population: 173,160 (2010 Census);[1] 159,900 (2002 Census);[5] 154,068 (1989 Census);[6] 125,000 (1973); 60,000 (1939).
Mytishchi is famous for its aqueduct, biggit in the 18t century bi order o Catherine the Great. It wis the first watter supply constructit in Roushie tae provide the Kremlin wi pure watter.
