The province borders Roushie an is near the Ural Muntains. The Ural River flows frae Roushie tae the Caspian Sea throu the province. Wast Kazakhstan haes the destinction o bein in Eastren Europe. It an aw borders the provinces o Atyrau (tae the sooth) an Aktobe (tae the east).

Demographics
Despite its mairch wi Roushie, Wast Kazakhstan haes a Kazakh majority. 69.8% o the population is ethnic Kazakh, while anerlie 27.4% is ethnic Roushie. The nummer o Ukrainians, Poles an Germans are vera law due tae the geography.[2]
