A. R. Lakshmanan

Arunachalam Chettiar Lakshmanan, B.A., B.L., (22 March 1942 – 27 August 2020) was an Indian politician and lawyer. He was a Judge of the Supreme Court of India between 2002 and 2007.[1][2] He was Chairman of the Law Commission of India between 2006 and 2009.

Lakshmanan died on August 27, 2020 in Devakottai, Tamil Nadu from cardiac arrest, aged 78.[3]
