Allison Brooks Janney (born November 19, 1959)[3] is an Emmy Award American movie, television and voice actress. She is best known for her roles in the television drama The West Wing for which she received several Emmy Awards. She starred in the 1999 Oscar winning movies American Beauty and Juno as well as many other movies.
In 2017, Janney starred as LaVona Fay Golden in the black comedy I, Tonya. She won an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, Satellite Award and a Golden Globe Award for her role as Golden in 2018.
