Bannock (food)

Bannock is a North American and indigenous bread. Its main ingredients typically include flour, butter, baking powder, sugar, lard, salt and all purpose flour. It is conventionally believed that Scottish fur traders called Selkirk settlers introduced bannock to the Indigenous peoples of North America during the 18th and 19th centuries.
