Bartholomew Patrick "Bertie" Ahern (Irish: Pádraig Parthalán Ó hEachthairn; born 12 September 1951, Dublin[1]) is a former Taoiseach of Ireland leader of Fianna Fáil, the Irish Republic's largest political party. He oversaw the largest economic expansion in Irish history and was important in making the Good Friday Agreement.
