"Clampdown " is a 1980 song by English punk rock band The Clash . It is the second single from their third studio album London Calling . It was released in Australia with its B-side single The Guns of Brixton . It was not released in other territories, with the exception of US promos. It was covered by the Indigo Girls for their 2005 album Rarities .
