Fantastic Mr. Fox is a 2009 American stop motion animated comedy movie directed by Wes Anderson. It is based on Roald Dahl's 1970 children's novel of the same name.
The movie stars the voices of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Michael Gambon, and Owen Wilson.
It was released on November 13, 2009. The movie also received nominations for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score, but lost both to Up.
