Francisco Javier Errázuriz Ossa (Spanish pronunciation: [franˈsisko xabjeɾ eˈrasuɾis ˈosa]; born 5 September 1933) is a Chilean prelate of the Catholic Church. He was Archbishop of Santiago from 1998 to 2010. He has been a cardinal since 2001. He was a member of Pope Francis' Council of Cardinal Advisers from 2013 until 2018.
In 2018 and again in 2020, he was accused of covering up sexual scandals and abuses in the Catholic church.[1]
