The Hanteng X5 is a compact Crossover SUV made by Hanteng Autos from 2016 to 2021.
History and Features
The Hanteng X5 was launched at the Guangzhou Auto Show in 2016.[1] its the second model from Hanteng after the Hanteng X7 and is positioned below the X7 and had a 1.5 liter petrol engine with a 5-speed manual or CVT transmissions it was improved in 2018 but the improved version was relaunched in 2020.[2] it had a pre-production electric version called Hanteng X5 EV that previewed a electric version of the car.
Markets
The Hanteng X5 was sold mainly in the Chinese Market during its production but it was also made and sold locally in Iran.
Discontinuation
The production of the Hanteng X5 ended in 2021 and was discontinued without a sucessor.
