Identity politics

Identity politics is politics that focuses on the problems of groups based on identity. Examples of identity politics include, Black nationalism, fat acceptance, sexual orientation, gender identity, and feminism.

Hip hop has expressed Black and Chicano nationalist identity politics. Homo hop expresses queer identity politics. Krip hop expresses disability identity politics.

White power rock music, also known as Rock Against Communism, often has lyrics about white pride and white separatism.
