James S. Levine

James Scott Levine (born August 29, 1974) is an American composer.

Levine was born in Boston, Massachusetts to David Levine and Lucy Simon. His father is Ashkenazi Jewish of Austrian Jewish, Czech Jewish, English Jewish, Hungarian Jewish, Polish Jewish and Russian Jewish descent and His mother is of Ashkenazi Jewish of German Jewish, Cuban and German descent.

Levine married Suzann Khorramzadeh and have two children Charles Levine and Sophie Levine.

Levine stated composers like Peter Bernstein, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Andrea Morricone, James Newton Howard, Petr Bernstein, Jean-Michel Jarre, Joel Goldsmith, Joseph Williams, Chris Mancini, David Newman, Rolfe Kent, Hans Zimmer and John Powell as influences.
