Kaffrine Region

Kaffrine is a region in the center of Senegal. The regional capital is Kaffrine.

As of the 2013 census, 544,011 people lived there. It has an area of 11,262 km² (4,348 sq mi).

It was created in 2008.

There are four départements:

• Birkilane Département
• Kaffrine Département
• Koungheul Département
• Malem Hoddar Département
