Katy Gallagher
Katherine Ruth Gallagher (born 18 March 1970) is an Australian politician. She has been a Senator for the Australian Capital Territory since the 2019 federal election. She is a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP). She was a Senator from 2015 to 2018, and was Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory from 2011 to 2014.
In May 2022, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese picked Gallagher to be Minister of Finance, Minister for Women and Attorney-General of Australia.[1]
Gallagher was born in Canberra, Australia.
