Kia Mohave
The Kia Mohave is a full-size SUV made by the South Korean company Kia. It was first introduced in 2008 and is sold in various countries around the world. In some markets like North America and China, it is called the Kia Borrego.

The first generation of the Kia Mohave, known by the model code HM, was produced from 2008 to 2019. It featured a body-on-frame construction, The first generation was offered with various engine options, including a 3.8L V6 and a 4.6L V8, along with a 3.0L diesel engine.
In the United States, the Kia Borrego was available in several trims, including the LX, EX, and Limited models, with optional features like leather seats, a sunroof, and a navigation system. The first generation was discontinued in the U.S. due to poor sales, the Mohave was later facelifted in 2016.[4] and continued to be sold in other markets until 2019.

The second generation of the Kia Mohave, model code HM2, was launched in 2019 as a 2020 model.[5] It features an updated design and improved technology. The vehicle is still built on a body-on-frame chassis, but with improvements The second generation offers new features like a redesigned interior, full-LED headlights, and multiple driving modes, including Eco and Sport modes. It is powered by updated diesel engines, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Markets
The Kia Mohave is currently sold only in South Korea with no plans to sell it again in North America.
Discontinuation
In June 2024 Kia decided to stop the production of the Mohave due to weak sales.
