Lesmahagow

Lesmahagow (Gaelic: Lios MoChuda) is a small town on the edge of moorland, near Lanark in the central belt of Scotland, and is also known as Abbey Green. In 2021 the population of the village was around 4310.[1]

The ruins of a 12th century church are located in the village. The village is also the headquarters of the Scottish branch of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).[2]
