Matam Region

Matam is a region in the nordeast of Senegal. The regional capital is Matam.

As of the 2013 census, 541,032 people lived there. It has an area of 29,445 km² (11,369 sq mi).

There are three départements:

• Kanel Département
• Matam Département
• Ranérou Ferlo Département
