Miao shrine

Miao (廟) are buildings in East Asian religions where people worship gods and legendary heroes.[1] They are a kind of Chinese temple and are different than Ci Shrines where people are worshipped instead of gods.
The word shenmiao (神庙, lit God-Miao) is normally translated as temple
