Thiès Region

Thiès is a region in the west of Senegal. The regional capital is Thiès.

As of the 2013 census, 1,709,112 people lived there. It has an area of 6,670 km² (2,580 sq mi).

There are three départements:

• M'bour Département
• Thiès Département
• Tivaoune Département
