Tom Natsworthy is the lead protagonist of Philip Reeve's Mortal Engines Quartet trilogy.
Role
In the first novel of the Mortal Engines Quartet (known in the United States as The Hungry City Chronicles), Mortal Engines, he starts with an ordinary teenager who is an apprentice historian.

In Mortal Engines, the movie adaptation of the first book, Natsworthy is portrayed by twenty-nine-year-old Irish actor Robert Sheehan as an adult.[1]
