கல் வண்டு (Scarabs) பண்டைய எகிப்தியர்களின் இறுதிச் சடங்கின் போது மம்மியின் கல்லறையின் கல் சவப்பெட்டியில் வைக்கப்படும் பொருட்களில் ஒன்றாகும். [1] [2][3] இந்த கல் வண்டுகள் சவப்பெட்டியில் உள்ள மம்மியை பாதுகாக்கும் என எகிப்தியர்கள் நம்பினர். கல் வண்டுகள் சிறிய அளவில் குறுங்கல்வெட்டுகளாக களிமண்னால் செய்யப்பட்டு அழகிய வண்ணம் தீட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும். கல் வண்டு மீது மம்மியின் பெயர் எகிப்திய மொழியில் படவெழுத்துகளில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருக்கும். இது பண்டைய எகிப்தியர்களின் கலையை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது. கல்லறையில் கல் வண்டுகள் வைக்கப்படும் வழக்கம். மத்தியகால இராச்சிய காலத்தில் (கிமு 2000) பிரபலமாக விளங்கியது. சில கல் வண்டுகள் இராச்சியத்தின் அரசியல் வெற்றி, திருமணம் மற்றும் அரசியல் உறவுகளை கொண்டாடும் விதமாக கல் வண்டு முத்திரைகளை வெளியிட்டனர். புது எகிப்து இராச்சியத்தினர் மம்மிகளை பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் கல் சவப்பெட்டியில் இதய வடிவில் கல் வண்டுகளை வைத்தனர். அரசி நெஃபர்டீட்டீ கல்லறையில் தங்க நிற கல் வண்டு சிதிலமடைந்த நிலையில் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்டது.
