บริเตนใหญ่ (อังกฤษ: Great Britain) เป็นเกาะที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในบริติชไอลส์ ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของยุโรปภาคพื้นทวีป โดยมีเกาะไอร์แลนด์ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันตก เกาะบริเตนใหญ่เป็นเกาะที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในทวีปยุโรป และเป็นเกาะที่ใหญ่เป็นอันดับเก้าของโลก[5] ล้อมรอบด้วยเกาะเล็กนับร้อยเกาะ บริเตนใหญ่เนื้อที่ส่วนใหญ่ของสหราชอาณาจักร เป็นที่ตั้งของอังกฤษ สกอตแลนด์ และเวลส์ บริเตนใหญ่เป็นเกาะที่มีประชากรมากที่สุดเป็นอันดับสามของโลก รองจากเกาะชวาและเกาะฮนชู[6][7]
คำว่าบริเตนใหญ่บางครั้งใช้ในความหมายของสหราชอาณาจักร ราชอาณาจักรบริเตนใหญ่ ซึ่งเป็นรัฐที่เกิดจากการรวมตัวของอังกฤษและสกอตแลนด์ในช่วงพ.ศ. 2250–2344 ก่อนที่ไอร์แลนด์เหนือจะเข้าร่วมเป็น สหราชอาณาจักรบริเตนใหญ่และไอร์แลนด์เหนือ
